Return Policy

Gold Jewellery & Lab-Grown Diamonds (LGD)

We offer a 48-hour return window from the time of delivery. The refund amount depends on when your return request is submitted:

Gold Product Returns — Freebies Must Be Returned

For all Gold jewellery returns, please ensure that any freebies, complimentary items, or gifts received along with your order are returned in their original condition. Returns submitted without included freebies may be declined or subject to a deduction.

Silver Jewellery

Silver jewellery follows the same 48-hour return window as Gold — 100% refund within 24 hours, 93% refund within 48 hours. No returns will be accepted after 48 hours of delivery.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met at the time of pickup:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition — with no signs of wear, alteration, or damage caused after delivery
  • All original packaging, tags, pouches, certificates, and accessories must be intact and included
  • For Lab-Grown Diamond (LGD) products, the original IGI/GIA certificate must be returned along with the item
  • For Gold products, all freebies or complimentary items received with the order must also be returned
  • An unboxing video is mandatory for all return requests — the video must show the package in its sealed state being opened. Requests without a valid unboxing video will not be accepted
  • Supporting images (minimum two clear photographs) of the item must be submitted along with your return request

Requests May Be Declined If

  • The product shows signs of use, wear, or post-delivery damage
  • Original packaging, tags, or certificates are missing
  • No unboxing video is provided or the video does not show the sealed package being opened
  • The return is requested after the 48-hour window has passed

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

Customized or made-to-order jewellery

Engraved or personalized pieces

Clearance or final sale products

Items marked as non-returnable on the product page

Promotional & Combo Orders

Products purchased under Buy 1 Get 1 or similar promotional offers are eligible for return only if the entire order (including the complimentary item) is returned together. Partial returns on combo orders will not be accepted. Refunds for such orders may be issued as store credit.

For LGD products, please note that returns are only accepted if the original diamond certificate is included. Missing certificates will result in the return being rejected.

Exchange Policy

Exchanges can be requested within 7 days of delivery for the following valid reasons. Each case is handled with a like-for-like replacement:

Damaged Item

You received a product that arrived broken, defective, or damaged in transit

Wrong Item Received

The product delivered does not match what you ordered

Size Issue

The jewellery does not fit as expected ring size, bracelet length, etc.

  • All exchange requests are subject to product availability at the time of processing
  • For LGD products, exchanges will be fulfilled with the same or closest available LGD item LGD items cannot be exchanged for non-LGD products
  • If the exact replacement is unavailable, our team will offer the nearest available variant or process a refund
  • Exchanges follow the same eligibility conditions as returns — items must be unused, with original packaging and unboxing video

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these steps to submit your request quickly and smoothly:

Visit the Returns / Exchange section on the Ratnam Labs website

Navigate to your account or the dedicated Returns portal

Enter your Order ID and registered contact details

Use the email address or phone number associated with your order

Select the item(s) and provide supporting details

Choose your return or exchange reason, upload your unboxing video and minimum two images, and specify your pickup address and preferred date

Submit your request for review

Our team will review and approve eligible requests within 1–2 business days

Pickup scheduled at your doorstep

Once approved, a courier pickup will be arranged from your address at no charge

Important Notes

Please Read Carefully

  • If your package arrives visibly damaged or tampered, refuse the delivery at the door and contact us immediately at support@ratnamlabs.com with your Order ID
  • Delay in raising a return or exchange request beyond the stated window will disqualify the claim — act promptly upon delivery
  • If the exact replacement item is unavailable at the time of exchange, our team will offer the closest variant or process a full refund
  • For LGD products, the original diamond certificate (IGI/GIA) must accompany the return or exchange shipment — missing certificates will result in rejection
